Paris Day 3

We decided to have a later start today. It was agreed that a bit of a sleep in would do us all the world of good and help us catch up the lost sleep from the first night.
We left the campsite around midday and caught the metro into Notre Dame Cathedral. Again the weather was against us. We went into the cathedral to avoid the rain. What an amazing place! Astounding that something that big could be made that long ago. Once wondering around for a good hour we made our way to the Louvre. We spent 4 hours looking at priceless works of art and artifacts. We saw Mona and Venus as well as some other cool stuff.
From there it was time for some dinner. The recommendation was Le Trumilou...we just needed to find it. We got about half way there and then the rain started again but this time it was bucketing down! We finally found the restaurant and we warmed ourselves over some garlic snails and some awesome traditional French Cuisine! Bon Apetite!
