All of us nursing different degrees of hangovers we decided to get up around 11am and head to the beach. We stopped along the way to refuel with a gyros....definitely hit the spot. We then walked over the hill to the beach. The girls swam and enjoyed the sun, Jake and I did some underwater exploration Jacque Costo style. There was a fair bit of underwater life and the water was so crystal clear. We spent about an hour looking around and then headed back into the beach for a rest and a banana dacquiri!! We found a Thai restaurant on the beach and as all of us were craving something a little healthy and something besides gyros, we sat down to a very nice meal. We then headed back into town and back to the resort for a lie down in preperation for another big night of drinking in Ios. Tonight we would be escorted around by Jake’s mates who were working on the Island and new all the best spots to go. Megs and Courtney decided to pike as neither were feeling the best and didn’t want to have to travel on the ferry the next day with a hangover....something Amy wishes she had considered but you will hear about that shortly.
We bar hopped for a few hours drinking lots of different things, beers, cocktails, shots etc. By about 3am Jo had had enough so we left Aims and Jake and headed back to the hotel. It wasn’t till about 6ish that Aims and Jake stumbled through door...only 6 hours before our ferry to Santorini....
