We got up and headed straight for the tyre place that we had been told about. The guy spoke NO english but we were able to get what we needed from him. One 2nd hand tyre and a shifter for €45, things were all of a sudden not looking so bleak.
We hit the road again this time aiming to get to Florence, again.
We stopped of at Pisa and wandered around the grounds of the palace for an hour or so.
Pretty cool to say that we’ve been to the leaning tower of Pisa but wasn’t the best thing we’ve seen. We then packed up and head for Florence arriving at around 6pm after a stop at a supermarket for supplies. A couple of warm beers and BBQ dinner and it was off to bed to get some rest for a very hot and busy day to come.
