Santorini, Greece

Jake and I left the girls to have some breaky by the pool in search of 2 quad bikes. We shopped around for a bit looking for the best deal. We found a place among the 100 different dealers that had 2 150cc bikes. These are about 3 times the power of the ones we had in Paros which meant more speed! WOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO! But mainly it was to get up some of the steep inclines that Santorini had to offer. We went straight to the black beach (Perissa Beach). We stayed for a bit but didn’t swim as it was early and still a bit coolish. We then went down to Red Beach, again didn’t swim as far to many people. We found a nice little place for lunch one of the small towns. We then did some more exploring and found a nice beach on the way back to the hostel. We went for a quick dip, still very fresh but still nice, then headed back to the room to get ready to go out and catch the sunset. We picked a nice little place that over looked the old port and the volcano island off Santorini. The sun was setting directly behind the volcano island so made for some great photo opportunities. After that we wondered around for a bit, had another east meal and then back to the hostel. At this stage i think we were all quite exhausted and the 2 days of drinking in Ios had court up with us. None of was really looking forward to the next day....8 hours on a ferry back to Athens....but that was the only one we could get.
